I love your articles really much because they are published in an understandable style. So I can study them although I come from Austria and get some problems to interpret English articles.

Ben, we asked for such as product at a favourite health food store on Queen Street East the other day. Sad to say, they had never heard of low sodium baking powder. We'll keep looking.

Ben...take a look at this site from the Canadian Stroke Network - you may want to feature it as an upcoming entry It's big on daily limits, how to read labels and has many excellent links.

I love this article. It offers great taste ideas to help diminish our salt cravings - for those of us so inclined. I'm continuously motivated by your success in lowering your sodium intake and on being a relentless sodium watchdog - congratulations!

Nice to see a major newspaper giving such coverage to the sodium issue, Ben.

Donna's new Dietetics blog is up, as you know, but she isn't ready to announce its presence quite yet. I'll just include the URL in this comment, if you don't mind. http://dietetics.ca

Wow! Canadians really need to watch their sodium levels, now that the TV news reveals how much more salt is being dumped into our prepared foods, compared with the same brands in other countries. This is SHOCKING!

I happened to catch that showing of Pat Foran's piece on sodium in restaurant foods and was shocked at the numbers. Good for CTV and this website for bringing the issue to greater public attention. There is no need for restaurants to overload their food with sodium this way!
